At our health center Wisby Söder in Gotland, we actively work to develop Good and Close Care.

Region Gotland has adopted an action plan with a target of 1100 registered patients per doctor, and from 2026 all our lists will be weighted towards 1100. All to create better conditions for both patients and employees. We are now looking for a specialist doctor in general medicine who wants to continue developing our operations.

The health center has nearly 15,000 registered patients and about 40 employees. Here, active improvement work is conducted with a focus on effective working methods, fixed contacts, person-centered care, and a sustainable work environment.

We value education for our ST, AT/BT, and medical students, and we had very good results in the latest SPUR review.

Your tasks

• Regular work as a specialist in general medicine in a multidisciplinary team
• Opportunity to work with medical interventions in SÄBO, short-term care, and home healthcare
• Supervision of training doctors and students
• Opportunity to take greater responsibility related to collaboration with other specialties within the region based on regional program responsibilities
• Some on-call shifts at our weekend clinic and standby duty from home during evenings, nights, and weekends are included

Who are you?

You are a specialist doctor in general medicine; other relevant specialties such as pediatrics or geriatrics may also be considered.

You are authorized to work within Swedish healthcare and have good knowledge of Swedish, at least at level C1.

Having a B driver's license is a requirement.

In your role, you are engaged, solution-oriented, and enjoy both independent work and teamwork. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Verification of credentials, specialist certificates, criminal records, IVO, and personal certificates is included before employment.
